4x Devils Smoke Magic Trick!
Impress friends and family with smoking fingers!
Please note: Read the following carefully on how to use as the instructions that come with the product are NOT in English and when English instructions are included they can be very hard to follow.
How to use:
- Tear off a strip of the paper and place on any metal surface such as a cigar tin (Do not use tinfoil and this can burn and the trick will not work)
- Set the strip of paper on fire with a match or lighter. (Best to do this outdoor as it will produce a LOT of smoke)
- Once the paper has finished burning wait for a few seconds for it to cool down then carefully remove the burnt paper.
- Rub your index finger and thumb accross the oil that is left on the tin, you dont need a lot just enough for a small covering on finger and thumb.
- At a moderate speed (not too fast) rub your thumb and index finger together in a circular motion and you will notice smoke starting to appear, you don’t need to rub faster to get more but rubbing harder can help.
TIPS:
- I found it was better to use your non-dominant hand to do this trick as it forces you to rub your finger and thumb together slower creating more smoke
- It takes some getting the hang of so use small strips to begin with, you will not need to burn the whole thing.
- Using your middle finger, index finger and thumb can also give a bigger smoke effect so experiment to see which is best.
- Due to the studio lighting and dark stages magicians use the smoke will always look bigger done professionally so don’t attempt to do this trick outside in full light with any slight wind
- Its best used inside, works fine in a well lit room but for best effect use a single light source such as a torch and a dark room

Cautions
- Keep your hands and fingers away from fire at all time whilst preforming the trick.
- Be careful when lighting the strip as it is extremely flammable and will light very fast and produce a lot of smoke so its best lit with a long match outside.
