A rigid splint to straighten and limit the DIP finger joint moving!
Please be sure to double check sizing against your own fingers before buying. Measure by taking the Circumference of the DIP joint of the finger (Joint below finger nail)
These splints straighten and limit movement in the DIP joint. Sizing can be viewed below or in the 3rd photo of the listing. Example of how to measure your finger can be viewed in the 2nd listing photo.
IMPORTANT: IF THERE IS ANY SWELLING IN THE AREA OR DELAYED SWELLING AFTER AN INJURY THEN THE MEASUREMENT OF YOUR DIP JOINT MAY TEMPORARILY CHANGE. YOU MAY NEED A LARGER SIZE FOR THE SWELLING AND A SMALLER SIZE FOR WHEN SWELLING SUBSIDES. IF MEASURING AROUND THE JOINT DIRECTLY AFTER AN INJURY THE SWELLING MAY EFFECT THE SIZE WHILST YOU ARE WAITING FOR THE PRODUCT TO BE DELIVERED, PLEASE TAKE THIS INTO ACCOUNT WHEN SELECTING A SIZE.

Size 0: 5.0 cm x 1.6 cm SUITABLE FOR DIP JOINT: 4.4 cm – 5 cm LITTLE FINGER ONLY.*
Size 1: 5.0 cm x 1.8 cm SUITABLE FOR DIP JOINT: 4.9 – 5.5 cm All Fingers except Thumb.*
Size 1 splint has a narrow finger tip, if your finger tip at the widest point is 5cm or over please select size 2.
Size 2: 5.6 cm x 2.0 cm SUITABLE FOR DIP JOINT: 5.0 – 5.9 cm All Fingers except Thumb.*
Size 3: 5.7 cm x 2.1 cm SUITABLE FOR DIP JOINT: 5.6 – 5.9 cm All Fingers and Small Thumbs **
Size 4: 5.8 cm x 2.1 cm SUITABLE FOR DIP JOINT: 6.0 – 6.3 cm Thumb and All Fingers except little*
Size 5: 6.0 cm x 6.0 cm SUITABLE FOR DIP JOINT: 6.4 – 7.5 cm Thumb Only***
*All fingers mentioned are recommendations due to the finger tip section of the splints narrowing on smaller sizes.
**Size 3 may fit small thumbs if the DIP joint is in range, the tip of this splint narrows so if it is too tight please leave a gap between the tip of the thumb and the tip of the splint before fastening the strap.
***Size 5 has been tested on an 8cm DIP joint, it did fit but it was tight and applied pressure to the thumb.
How to use:
1. Undo the velcro strap to open up the body of the splint
2. Slide your finger into the splint so you can see your finger nail through the big hole at the top
3. Fasten the strap making sure it is tight enough to limit movement
